Nevada Builders Alliance, Clark and Associates partner to provide benefits, HR services

The Nevada Builders Alliance has partnered with Clark & Associates and Solutions at Work to provide a full suite of cost-effective employee benefits and human-resources services to members of the Builders Alliance.
“This innovative agreement allows builders of all sizes to cost effectively offer employee benefits that are competitive to those provided by large companies,” said Valerie Clark, the president of Reno-based Clark & Associates.
As the construction industry leads the resurgence of the Nevada economy, builders face the challenge of recruiting and retained skilled workers, said Aaron West, chief executive officer of the 50-year-old association headquartered at Carson City.
“With more than 700 members representing tens of thousands of workers in every corner of Nevada, Nevada Builders Alliance can rely on this agreement with Clark & Associates to assist our members as they build strong workforces,” West said. “This is a valuable benefit to all of our members.”
The employee-benefits package provided by Clark & Associates includes five health insurance options (including a Health Savings Account), dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) program and the supporting paperwork that employers require.
Solutions at Work, meanwhile, will provide payroll services, management of unemployment insurance claims, preparation of employee handbooks and job descriptions, compliance review and support for disciplinary actions.
