The narrative voice was not for me. The romance between Jenna and Max felt forced and not genuine. I didn't think Max was smooth at all, he was a corny horn dog who talked too much IMO. I thought Jenna was boring and the story overall was predictable and cliché. It told when it should have showed and showed things it could have told. I only finished it because I don't like doing things halfway but it was a painful journey, especially in the last couple of chapters.

Good, same usual story line, rich hot guy a head over heels girl who works for some magazine or newspaper... but it did get exciting 😉
